The role

The Azuga marketing team for a data centric marketing analyst to provide insights into the effectiveness of our our GTM strategies across our digital assets (web, online advertising, SEO, email). The candidate will provide critical insights on our performance and make recommendations on how we can improve across our digital channels.

We are looking for a real data-centric (aka geek) teammate who can dig for insights and then visualize the data to tell the story within the numbers. The role will highlight areas of opportunity throughout our funnel and help our marketers improve our marketing performance.

Responsibilities

Serve as a data expert to cross-functional teams, enabling informed decisions and business outcomes
Access and synthesize data using appropriate tools and technology while leveraging knowledge of data sources, data quality and business context

Apply analytical/statistical methods to provide stakeholders with analysis, insight and direction that will move the needle on key performance indicators and metrics

Effectively translate analytical findings into the language of business stakeholders

Ensure that data findings are appropriately visualized in a way that will resonate with stakeholders and clearly highlight implications
Evangelize data stewardship, pursue data quality and relentlessly drive data issues to resolution

Continuously leverage industry best practices in support of evolving the analytics infrastructure

Mining and driving insights from recorded sales conversations and the sales funnel

Incorporate advanced analytics into customer insights and properly package business insights and findings for customer consumption.

Clearly and succinctly communicate the findings and insights to the customer with proper verification and validation techniques
Partner with internal Marketing and Sales leaders to deliver end to end insights analysis

Identify efficiencies and best practices and drive improvements throughout the organization

Qualifications 


BS or MS in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Science, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar quantitative analytical field

Demonstrated passion for data, analytics, and problem solving
Experience in translating analytic results into business recommendations and business questions into analytic frameworks

Demonstrated experience in data requirement elicitation, consolidation, validation, report/dashboard creation and quality assurance

Strong technical skills. Proficient in SFDC and complex excel modeling along with other marketing technologies

Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex data, the context surrounding it, and the implications to business stakeholders

Exceptionally organized and a self-starter who can work well independently and in a team environment

Ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines and influence change

Previous experience working with Salesforce data table and marketing CRM is highly preferred

Experience with one or more Data Analysis and/or Data Visualization tool such as (Microstrategy, OBIEE, Tableau) is a plus
